Defining The Palette
A young couple recently moved into a new home in Maple Glen and were eager to make their home feel like home.
To do that, they focused on the living room – an area for entertaining guests and personal time as a family.
After consulting with Staging Spaces and Design, a paint palette was established to help make decisions regarding carpet and colors for the adjacent kitchen.
Custom Living Room Decorating
Next, the decorating process began. With work obligations and small children, our Custom Design package was the right fit.
Together, we established the following:
- Project budget
- Client likes/dislikes
- Color scheme preferences
- Amount of seating needed (for family & for entertaining)
- Necessity for child-friendly fabrics
At a second meeting, Staging Spaces and Design met the clients at a design center to see furniture and sample the feel and overall quality of the pieces. We also created custom seating cushions to make sure our client was the most comfortable!
After 10 weeks, all the custom furniture, window treatments, and accessories were installed. It really looked like an ‘HGTV’ instant before-and-after!
Below, you’ll see the amazing transformation – from initial home purchase – to painting – to finished living room!
